Augmenta magic arm

This is an accessory to be able to easily clamp on objects to precisely aim in space your sensor. The Augmenta magic arm can be used in three ways - With the clamp - By removing the clamp and building your own hanging system - By using the the threaded holes in the clamp to build your own hanging system (recommended for permanent spaces)

Mounting options

Clamping is very good for event or semi-permanent installation. For permanent installation, it might move over time, So we recommend building your own way to hang more firmly on top of the magic arm.

Without the clamp

An option for permanent installation is to have a threaded rod anchored to the ceiling and coming down to the right height. Then a female-female coupler with the radius of the threaded rod on one side and a 1/4” photography thread on the other side, so we can attach the articulated arm.
When tightened properly, this method should be more stable over time than a clamp, as there is no clamp mechanism that can untighten or loose grip over time.
One downside of a threaded rod can be that it is more sensitive to vibration, especially when being particullarely long. Make sure that the vibration from A/C or ventilation does not affect objects anchored to the ceiling.
